  Terminales Portuarias del Pacífico (TPP)

In 2006, a partial rights assignment agreement was signed with API-Lazaro Cardenas to build and operate a public dry bulk and steel by-products terminal. The agreement was signed for 25 years and can be renewed for an additional 10-year period.

GMD has a 20% ownership stake in this project. The terminal commenced operations in 2012, and its first berth has the capability to accommodate capesize vessels, which are considered the largest in their class. This feature enables us to meet the import and export demands of this market.

The terminal receives capesize vessels, the largest in their class, to meet transport demand between Mexico and Asia.
