Engineering and construction   Barranca El Cañón Bridge
This cable-stayed bridge, located at Km 134+784 on the Cuernavaca-Acapulco expressway, in the Chilpancingo-Puente de Ixtla section, measures 856 feet long and 70 feet wide. It features four spans with a maximum reach of 545 feet, a pylon height of 378 feet and a superstructure manufactured with metallic voussoirs installed with the double cantilever system. Its maximum height above the ravine is 360 feet.

It was built between 1991 and 1992, and operations began in 1993. It is now managed by the Federal Government.
